Laboratory Automation



We are building open-source systems and community to support niche science workflows, informed by direct collaboration with a consortium of duckweed researchers. Our systems make possible experimental design, exploration, and automation which might be otherwise impossible or prohibitively difficult. As a case study, we are currently focused on the workflows of plant biologists. We are building custom toolheads and machine control interfaces from computational notebooks to operate Jubilee, our lab’s open-source multi-tool motion platform.
